Here is a stunning trip through the International Space Station in High Definition. It’s pretty long, and the HD takes a little while to load, but it’s well worth the wait. If you have slower internet, you may want to watch it at your local library:

High Definition Tour of the International Space Station
Saturday, August 29th, 2009New Google Alternative
Wednesday, June 10th, 2009If are tired of using Google and want to try something different, or you dislike Google’s political agenda but want a decent search engine, then the next thing you’ll want to do will probably be to point your browser to www.bing.com, Microsoft’s new search engine. Bing shows a daily picture of a city with historical information about it, and includes news, image and video searches. The video search uses video thumbnails, which are a quick way to preview (or even watch the whole) movie. Bing even includes it’s own news search feature, much like Google News. The streamlined ‘gallery’ format makes for a great multimedia experience, the only time you could have any trouble is on slow internet speeds. Bing also has a blogging service, a new competitor for Google’s Blogger.com. Overall, Bing.com is definitely worth checking out. It seems to be catching on after only a few days of being advertised in the media and otherwise and could very well give Google a run for it’s money.
